Michael is the Managing Director of Weddings Parties Entertainment. Michael is a multi award winning Event director, MC & DJ. He has performed live at over 2,000 events, and been a prominent figure in the Australian Radio Scene since the late 1980’s. Michael shot to prominence as a young, talented and ambitious radio personality, hosting the flagship Top 40 Countdown show in regional NSW.
Juanita KING
Juanita keeps things real as is the Operations Manager for all of us at Weddings Parties Entertainment. She is the senior Mirror Booth & Pylon photo booth attendant with a passion for creating individual overlays and animations. She’s always looking at increasing our range of frames, backdrops and photo Booth options. Juanita loves helping the guests enjoy their night and makes sure the Booths run smoothly
Alex Marquis
Alex is our secret weapon when it comes to getting people involved. He can get you up dancing, or you just might end up Karaoke singing with him. When Alex isn’t dancing to the Macarena, or out catching Pokémon (He really does have an ambition to be the very best – like no one ever) you’ll find him operating the machines like the confetti, dry ice, smoke or the new bubbles machine. Alex is the main man, in all black who turns the magic on! Simply put Alex knows how to ensure that every guest has an amazing and rememberable time. With two years of hospitality experience under his belt, as a member of the Admin & Events team Alex gets to see both sides of the entertainment magic. Does he love it !! Why don’t you ask him !!
Being the youngest team member of Weddings Parties Entertainment, Alex holds the proud honour of being the 2019 dad-bod champion (without having a kid). He is also a proud member of the Macarena singing fan club as he can recite every word to his ultimate jam song. We think he might just be the president of this club.
Paul Anthony
Paul Anthony is one of the professional wedding DJs here at Weddings Parties Entertainment. He has been DJing over 20 years and has quite a long musical history. His musical journey began at young age when he started learning piano from age 6. At 9 years old he took up playing the trumpet and he then went on to join the Victorian state brass band by age 11 and continued until the age of 15. It was around this time he began learning to play guitar and joined a rock band with some friends.
Shortly after he discovered the great world of DJing and quickly became the designated DJ for all family events and this sparked his interest to become a full time professional DJ. Once he left high school he started his own DJ company and over the years has trained over 50 DJs and performed at literally thousands of weddings and private events. In recent times Paul has been working as a destination wedding DJ in Thailand however is now back and residing in his hometown Melbourne. He works as a DJ for Michael King and the Weddings Parties Entertainment team and takes pride in his profession and gives extra care and passion with every event he performs. Beth Simpson
Beth always scores at least 9/10 on all her events, and she fits into the Weddings Parties Entertainment team perfectly as she prides herself on going above and behind to deliver excellent service. Beth is a highly sought after Mirror Photo Booth attendant. She will make sure that you get the best positive experience possible by showing you how to use the Mirror Photo Booth, help you with choosing from our premium props, give you some bat-crazy posing ideas and if you are really lucky she might even take a picture with you. Nothing but cool and positive vibes
Beth is a bubbly and outgoing character, all the way from good ole England! With 5 years experience in hospitality, Beth brings so much fun and vitality to every event. Beth has spent most of her time in the UK running events, parties and gala dinners.
Charlotte Strom
Charlotte is the Norwegian flavour to our team. With a big appetite for fun and festivity Charlotte is awesome to chat to about ideas for an amazing photo with the Magic Magic Booth. These photos are great to help you remember your evening. Charlotte loves being a part our team, & her aim is to make you and every one of your guests have a spectacular event. When she is not entertaining with us, you will probably find her juggling her hobbies, horse riding, boxing, surfing and Latin dancing.
Venessa Turner
Vanessa makes it all happen online while staying behind the mask. Yes! she takes charge of everything social. Vanessa is the one that controls the business Facebook & Instagram accounts and often edits and submits the blogs, have you read any? Check them out here
Heath Little Spence
Having worked numerous clubs around Bendigo and with the WPE team Heath surely knows his place mixing at the decks and bouncing around the photo booth. Only positive vibes come from this cool, laid back person who is pretty chill and always ready to PARTY!!
The Woronka's
These two first came to prominence with us when our very own Deejaymickeyk (Mike The Boss) was lucky enough to entertain Nick and Bekk at the engagement party. and YES they did get married, and to this day still very much in love, with a lovely family to boot!!. We think this is because they work for us, and we keep them just on the straight side of zany! – if you don’t believe me, look at the Photos! Whilst Nick is our resident “Make it work dude” he is also one of our headline “alternative music DJ’s”, however be aware he can also bust out his own moves as good as LMFAO. He is also known to replace the voice of Mike the Boss from time to time (had to get that one in), haha sorry Mike Bekk knows just how to be cool, and adds a level of sophistication to every event Sometimes it is hard to pull the mirror photo booth away from Bekk, or is it the other way around??? Any-who, they make the magic happen either alone or working as a zany duo. The sparks fly, the decks spin and the mirror booth flashes! Wanna know why ??? Book them both and find out.
